4th Training on 30th May 2009
Dear all,
There will be NPRCD meet on this coming Saturday (30th May 2009)
Thank you.
This is also the last week for you guys to practice figure of 8 and/or doughnut for training.
This is also the last training before there will be no club training for two weeks due to common test.
Training will resume on 20th June 2009.
After the common test week, we will have a interclub event on 20th June 2009, mentioned on the last training post. CCA points will be awarded.
All of you will be assessed on your current rank on your drift skills. This will be recorded and post on the blog to show who is improving and who is not to have a gauge of yourself compared to your teammates.
Summary of 1st to 4th training week:
- Basics of running a remote control car
- All-you-need-to-know terms and jargons in RC language
- Basics of knowing the electronics and parts in a car
- Attempting to drift using your car when not setup to drift
- Basics of setting a car to drift
- Learning how to engage your car into a drift
- Learning how to do a doughnut with your car
As usual, if you are not sure of any of the above still, you still can practice on your own or request us for help.
Assuming now that you have learnt the above well, this is the plan for the next four weeks from 5th to 8th training week:
